       The expert group led by Gong Xiaonan, an academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering, listened to the work report of the research team and conducted on-site inspections and defenses. The expert group believes that the project team has developed a new generation of digital multi-functional pore pressure static penetration probe (CPTU) test system, which is in line with international standards, in view of the current situation of in-situ testing technology of geotechnical engineering in China. China's multi-functional digital CPTU test technology theory and application system form a complete set of equipment and technology for geotechnical CPTU in-situ testing, which has great theoretical and engineering significance. The project has achieved a number of innovative research results, which have been successfully applied in highways, bridges, airports and other projects in China, and improved the in-situ testing technology level of geotechnical engineering in China. The appraisal committee believes that the results have reached the international leading level.
